'Friends of the 277 radar' is a group establishing a display of a 277 radar console and transmitter so to preserve an important piece of the Australian Bureau of Meteorology’s history in Melbourne, Victoria, Australia.
This radar was the first type of radar introduced to the Bureau and therefore very significant in the development of the national radar network.
This E-Group is just to help each of us keep contact and share infomation, tales and details of the progress of the project.
