This is a group dedicated to the idea that low cost high performance telescopes in the 1 to 2 meter diameter can be created, manufactured and operated by Amateur Astronomers. To this end a collection of telescope users, builders and dreamers has come together to see if this goal can be achieved. There is a wide range of talent and education in this collection so please know you are welcome no matter what your level of telescope enthusiasm or building skill is. The only rules are (1) stay on topic ( just about anything telescope making related is acceptable ), (2) civility..... no flaming of any kind will be tolerated. Members here are contributing their time and talents with no compensation other than the enhancement of the art. (3) ablolutely no adult content materials ( jokes, language, images, links or anything of the kind). Lets keep the images out of the messages and over in the images or files section. Other than that, lets get designing on them 2 meter telescopes :_))))))
