Thanks for the information. It looks like an amendment to the copyright laws for printed material occurred before the magazine was printed. If it were done back in the 60's, it might be a different story. I haven't yet found any material regarding keeping personal archives in digital format. There is some skepticism on the subject in general. For example, it could be considered illegal to make a backup of a DVD movie for personal use only, but making a backup of an audio CD is not considered illegal. Weird. I'm not sure where personal backups of printed material falls in regard to this.
