Yes, .flv is a Flash video file, and this is the
format that YouTube uses. Exactly how to do this will
depend upon your operating system and web browser,
but in essence you will want to track down the .flv
file in your browser's cache when you watch a
particular video. These files are not streamed but
rather are downloaded to your machine. They are not
designed to be particularly easy to save, so you need
to know where to look. There are many instructional
guides on the web to show how to capture these .flv
files. There are also many software programs you can
download which do it for you. There are even websites
you can go to which will save YouTube videos for you.
I do not have all the particulars on this information
at my disposal right now since I am at work, and
several sites are blocked. If you cannot find
