We also identified bugs in dealing with un-normalized numbers (when the exponent has the value "0", there is special treatment of the mantissa), and the purported "test suite" which does not demonstrate the bugs.  No one volunteered to fix either of these problems.  I was only playing with it, and didn't have time to fix the problems myself.
