This information was recently posted on the
photo-3d list, and I think it will be of interest to many members of this group.
I
hope that many stereo photographers will submit images so that the Stereo
Division
can be represented. Time is quite short with a deadline of 2/28, and images must
be

high quality "coffee table" book for its 75th anniversary. I have
just
learned that they will accept stereo images. Format is parallel, side by
side, 4"x7", 300 dpi, tiff.

Every member of the Photographic Society of America (PSA) is invited to
submit no more than two images to be considered for possible publication
in a
coffee table-sized book celebrating the 75th anniversary of PSA (No
more than
one image per member will be used). Images will be selected for
publication by
qualified judges and a variety of work will be selected to
form an interesting
book. All members submitting images may not be
represented in the book.

The 75th Anniversary of the Society will be in 2009. The Anniversary
book
will be for sale and is planned to be ready in September 2009.
Images will be
accepted through February of 2008. An entry form is shown
below and must be
signed and accompany each submission: there is no
charge to submit and no
images will be returned unless the member
provides return postage and a return
address label. No payment will be
made by PSA to any submitting entrant for use
or non-use of any image.

Criteria for image submission

1. Images may be slides (no glass mounts), prints (maximum size 8 ½ X
12
inches, no frames), or digital sent on CD in Tiff format, 300 dpi.

2. All images shall be titled (Note: "Untitled" is not a title) and
the
work of the maker. All images must have started from the photographic
process, by the member

3. One image per member may be published: no image is guaranteed to be
published.

4. Entries will not be returned unless adequate postage is included with
entry.

5. There is no charge to enter but each member may enter no more than two
images total. Send both images in the same package.

6. Images submitted may be used for promotion and/ or educational
purposes
by PSA. All images will be destroyed after processing unless
adequate postage
is sent with entry.
