Description

The 47 Society Mailing List was first established in 1994 as a forum for sharing the enigmatic sightings and occurrences of the number 47. It is a place to share ideas about these occurrences in an effort to both amuse ourselves and simultaneously plumb the philosophical depths (if any) of this phenomenon.

Frequency of Mailings: The 47 List is posted randomly (of course) as stories, sightings, and ruminations are submitted.

I stopped at the verizon wireless store today to buy a new phone for my friend... And my trip meter was on 47.0 exactly. Picture will be posted. :D

I thought we were the only ones...
So, my friend & I first noticed 47 in a Knight Rider episode where a guest star mentioned he had been in 47 bands. We laughed at how ridiculous & exhausting
