I did try using the Kortex upgrader some time ago but could find no improvement
in the performance of the solo. The big disadvantage
was that the solo became a French Kortex, complete with the French language
prompts. It is possible to retain the Pace prompts but
the functions of some of the buttons are also modified leading to confusion.
Don't bother unless you're bored and want a challenge.
