The fact that there is at least some life in the lights (other than the
power light) could be a good thing. Are you able to access the Solo
via any terminal software - if so, does it respond at all to the "AT"
command? If so, I can give you some commands to try to kick it back
into action (the lights stuck on make me think the Solo could have
gotten switched to debug/test mode somehow - this can easily be
switched off providing you can still access the Solo via a terminal
program).
Failing that, have you tried reflashing the Solo? You can find the
flash utility at http://www.infoserve.com/drivers/drivers/mac56up.htm
