Having upgraded to Win XP there is no problem accessing the internet
via the Solo 56. However if incoming faxes are stored (on the modem)
whilst the computer is off, there is a subsiquent problem accessing
the ISP when the computer is switched on again. This results in an
error message, 'Error 797. A connection to the remote computer could
not be established because the modem was not found or was busy' and
the computer hangs. The computer has to be rebooted and the modem
switched off and on again, which results in the saved fax being lost.

I need to know please will the V90 upgrade as found at
http://www.infoserve.com/drivers/drivers/pc56up.htm
resolve the issue or does anyone have any other suggests.

Thanks in advance

Nigel

Nigel; I think that's exactly what I'm saying. I know the flash upgrade comes with all sorts of deadly warnings, but I've done it three or four times over the...
