Hello Paulo,
Orion sells a spotting scope version of the ST-80. It came without a finder
scope and with a 45 degree diagonal prism. The astro version's 90 degree prism
can be used for birding, but it is a bit of a strain on the neck. Also, birders
are sometimes confused by the inverted image.
With a 45 degree erect image prism and an eyepiece around 12 mm you would have a
33 power spotting scope.
