Description

AASI was founded in July 1997 to promote astronomy viewing and education. This is an online meeting place for AASI. Our members can use this site to keep in touch with each other and post their observations. This site can serve as a place for posting the dates and times of our upcoming meetings and viewing sessions. Anyone interested in astronomy is welcome to contact us for more information.
The Image to the right is of the Double Cluster with Comet 103P Hartley 2 in the upper part of the image. AASI Member Kyaw Naing made this image using a Canon 7D DSLR which was connected to Orion 80ED Refractor.
