I use the i.Trek M5+ bluetooth GPS with my PDA. Works excellent, and not any wires to worry about. I am assuming your tablet has bluetooth.  Inexpensive as well.  Never loses the signal.    Randy

I downloaded the trial version of APIC map and I like what I see. I tried the different features in sim mode and I especially like the approach plates....

Thanks for passing along what works for you. I purchased an i.Trek M5+ and since my life p1610 did not have built in blue tooth, I purchased a Micro Bluetooth...
