Dynon has a proprietary autopilot servo that I doubt very much will work
with APIC. Dynon isn't saying how to drive their servos other than hook
them to another Dynon product. Would be very interesting if it did work
tho.
APIC does output ASCII data that could be used by a specially designed
autopilot (no common autopilots). You have to get the ASCII words and
baud rate set correctly or nothing would work.
You meed APIC Glass to interface the Dynon data output to the APIC
program. I'm about to try it. The Dynon outputs serial data but my
Tablet doesn't have any serial inputs. I bought a serial to USB adapter
so I can get the Dynon data into a USB comm port for display on the
Tablet PC. Will let ya know how that goes.
PS I am a Dynon dealer and will offer anyone on this list a 7% off
retail price for Dynon products!
