This group was established:
1. To provide a forum wherein the theoretical and practical aspects of acoustics can be explored, examined, and discussed
2. To facilitate opportunities for professionals and students to network, promote and exchange their knowledge from all fields of acoustics
3. To announce science and engineering meetings and events

All meetings sponsored by the Washington DC chapter of the Acoustical Society of America are free to anyone interested in acoustics. Meetings are held quarterly with invited speakers from diverse fields of acoustics. Group members will receive our monthly electronic publication "Acoustics Update" to stay informed of the latest developments.
