Most likely, the problem is that you still have (version identifying) information about the previous ASCOM in your Windows Registry. Click the Windows [start]

ASCOM Installer Problems
I have an HP laptop that I had ASCOM installed on. I was having problems, so I started uninstalling software one by one to see if I could rectify the issue.

There's not enough information there. Please provide a screen shot of the error message and document the steps needed to reproduce the problem. Thanks, Tim

Gemini an german Mount
Hello, I'm new on this group and I would like use my Gemini driver ASCOM with my soft. I would like to know if these points could be added to (or exists in !)

ASCOM won't load
I have tried a number of things to get ASCOM to run on my Laptop so I can operate my telescope. It's an HP dv5000 ,Running windows xp .I'm trying to install
