This list is used primarily by members of the ASCOM Initiative for discussions of driver standards & technical issues, development and maintenance of drivers, and supporting drivers not delivered by manufacturers with their instruments.

There are many simultaneous conversations going on here. It is much easier to sort things out if you click on the "Topics" tab at the top of the message list. This will show you a threaded view of the messages, separating them into separate "conversations". Also, if you are receiving the messages from here via email, activate the threading feature of your emailer for the same great reading experience!

Hi- I definitely don't claim to understand this stuff, so if it is in fact easy to make a C++ driver, I would welcome such an example to refer to. As for xml -

Thank you Rick for your quick reply, adding items from Platform6 solved my problem. The focuser part of ClientToolkitSample.cs now works fine. Mike
