It's easy for a desktop PC, a PCI serial port. It's laptops where there's no alternative that people are stuck with USB. Chris

Can you can start a separate thread for this please. It's confusing to tell which problem people are referring to. You can bypass the ASCOM serial driver

The best driver for the MoonLite focuser is the one on their download site labelled: "Our beta 64 bit driver requires Ascom Platform 6.0 and can be downloaded
