Welcome to the Astronomical Society of Greater Hartford Public Events group! This is a public Forum that will keep you informed of events of interest to friends of ASGH.

Primarily, you will receive notifications of upcoming observing at Van Vleck Observatory at Wesleyan University. If weather looks at all 'iffy' for an event, we will also let you know whether or not the event will be held. You will also receive other notifications from time to time regarding events like StarConn, which is normally held in the spring, Celebrating Astronomy in Meriden, which is an event that is being co-sponsored by ASGH, and any other events that are open to the public.

To receive messages from this Forum you must first subscribe as a member. To subscribe, send an empty email message to:
asgh_events-subscribe@yahoogroups.com. That's it! After your email address is received you will receive an email from eGroups confirming your membership.

When you join the Forum your name will be added to a list of email addresses, and when a moderator sends a message to the Forum it will go out to all names on the list.
