Roel, The used channels are: VIS600=blue VIS800=green IR016=red It's the same mapping as with MSG. Rob.

This picture was received by F. Duttke in Germany, using the new hrpt-decoder. Combination of the visible channels and near-infra-red gives coloured pictures

Yes I agree David, although if they were to wait so that the best data was available, they would be better just sending the complete fast dump data as before

... I am inclined to agree with you, Ian. Or, at least wait until more of the data is in (after FDES) so that the most complete data for the ascending pass
