Yes, GroundMap can be automated. There are instructions in the "BATCH
MODE" section of the read-me file, GroundMap.txt.
You could perhaps write small a program using VBScript and my orbit
prediction DLL which could either:
- work out which orbits cover Italy, and drive the HRPT Reader/GroundMap
to process those orbits.
or:
- process all data, and examine the resulting image from GroundMap to see
whether it contains enough useful data.
You have already discovered that WXtrack will produce a list of passes
which are useful, and that program can also be driven from the
command-line.
If you wish, I could perhaps quote you a price for inclduing more
automated features in the programs to help with your task. For example, I
might be able to add an ErrorLevel code when GroundMap returns to indicate
the percetage part of the image with data. Please write to me directly if
you would like a quotation.
