I wrote a program and used Active Lock 1.84, it works great except for
one thing... On a network, if the clients installs it as
administrator, it will register the program fine but when a user logs
on and run the same program ir comes up with the 30 days message and
the user can't register it because they don't have the rights to write
to the registry (Local_Machine). If you use the Currecnt_Machine in
the registry, then every person that uses the workstations needs to
reinstall the program and/or register program again over and over again
for evey new user!
If anyone has a fix or idea to stop this from happening please it me
know!
Thanks!!

Hi there, it all depends on the way you lock it, and as long as he is not changing the hardware i think u will just need to send him the code again. As it has to be written somewhere in bitmap or registry ( depending on type of lock you select) , best way out will be make your code in a ini file/registry file and ship it with your installation. so no headaches to you, but in case he looses the file u charge him as per your policy.
Thanks & Regards DJ

Hi Every ... its very nice to be here , i have not thoroughly worked
on this one, but i would like you to check into this small
requirements which i think is not present as per the doc.... you c
sometimes its a requirement that i have a application which have
multiple modules which i want to lock & give access only as & when
required ... all i mean is i may want to restrict the access till the
time i want on certain modules.. & even that it may be timely
restricted etc..( e.g. different password for different application )
Sorry, I can't help you but if you go to the site I mentioned below
you may want to post your question there.

Linux takes junk and turns it into something useful.
Windows takes something useful and turns it into junk.
I have a program that I want to protect and I want it to have
different levels like Free (Basic), Bronze, Silver and Gold.
How could I set up my program to use ActiveLock and allow the user to
register for different levels. Would I have to use multiple controls?
I would rather use a single control.
