Hi everyone,
I just recently joined the group. My background is both EE & CS. My company
is big into Agile methods, and I advocated that we move what we have to
offer into embedded development. In fact, it was through a challenge from a
potential client that we took the plunge. A paper on effectively
implementing TDD in resource constrained embedded environments resulted
(link below).
I'm not presently doing embedded development, but our company is. We think
it's the wild frontier for developing good process and reducing waste
because of the technical and cultural challenges inherent to it.
Timo, thanks for posting the link to your blog. It looks very good. I just
linked to it from the embedded page on our blog and included it in our
custom search engine.
Here are some resources I can offer:

We'll also soon be releasing some work we've done on using Ruby to generate
mocks for interaction-based testing in C - specifically for embedded
development.
Looking forward to good things to come.
