At this point I'm not comfortable calling myself a co-chair of any sort for Agile Philly; I'm more comfortable just saying I'm a member of the coordinators' group, a group that ensures Naresh's responsibilities (Scheduler) get taken care of. Frankly I've been overwhelmed by this new task (and mostly focussed on finding out who is out there to help out), and as I'm starting to figure it out I realize I've let some things / some contacts slip through the cracks (like making sure you're aware of what's going on). I can't remember what role(s) you were most interested in--outlined at http://wiki.agilephilly.com/index.php?title=Volunteering_to_serve_in_an_Administrative_Role_for_a_month
-- but if you're signing up to play the role of Scheduler, that would be great--we can take turns. Naresh booked the speaker for May, I got June fully booked, so the next month to work on is July. Any ideas? One thing we like to do is make sure the speakers and the host are not from the same company.
I'm currently working on an announcement about the upcoming two events and about a proposed admin/coordinators meeting to be held Thur Apr 26. At that meeting we'll actually be 'pair programming' the content into the site. I just don't know the topic of May's talk yet...I expect to know monday.
Anyway, this type of higher-bandwidth communication will be on the agile philly coordinators list serve, which we just set up a week or so ago--see below--and please sign up!
