This list group is devoted to the topic of alien starship (both inorganic and semi-organic types) maintenance and repair. This list group is operated by Vinny Pinto; I am a mystic and R&D scientist with a graduate degree in the sciences. I operate a number of informational websites and email list groups on topics in the varied realms of alternative health, strange science and mysticism.

In late Nov. 2007, I was at the checkout in a local hardware store purchasing some stainless steel hardware. The clerk expressed amazement at the massive amount of hardware that I was purchasing, and asked what I planned to do with it. Well, I broke out in a cold sweat, because the truth was that I needed the hardware to complete work on my prototype Time-Space Doorway. Now, I could hardly tell the clerk the truth without risking being locked up in a loony bin, so I glibly fibbed and said that I needed the parts in order to help some stranded space aliens repair their starship which had crashed in the forested backyard of my mountain wilderness home. The clerk chuckled and went back to his work. An elderly man standing next to me smiled and said "that's neat!".

Minutes later, after I left the shop, the same man approached me, told me that he was a retired dairy farmer, and advised me with great solemnity that he had a real crashed alien craft in his backyard and four scared aliens huddling in his barn, and asked if I would help him to repair the craft for them. Intrigued, and thinking that he was likely a bit looney, I agreed. I visited Fred's farm later that day, his story turned out to be true, and within 4 days we had the starship repaired (thank God for TIG welders) and the grateful aliens were on their way. Well, farmer Fred told a few of his friends of our success, and they told other people, and in short order that led to calls from other persons who were trying to repair disabled alien starships; these requests led me to start this list group.
