The supposedly american chestnut trees at tyty are very expensive
compared to other types, and I noticed it only said 'reportedly
blight resistant' which doesn't sound very reassuring.
Perhaps I'll be better off with some type of Hyrid. I'm hoping to
end up with around 150 healthy chestnut trees. I don't want to end
up with all my trees being destroyed by the blight.
Does anyone have any recomendation on american hybrids I might
consider? I really know nothing about chestnuts other than that I
like them and they are extremely hard to find, I don't know much
about growing trees in general, so thats why I'm here trying to
learn :)
Now I'm thinking about the demarvelous hybrids at:

any opinions are appreciated
