Hello, I've been trying to learn as much as I can about American
Chestnut trees since I heard about what happened to them. In the few
months I've been looking I've found 2 seperate trees near where I
live. One is about 6 feet tall and kind of sickly looking. I was
wondering if it would be possible (and if its a good idea) to move it
from its current location to a place where it will get more light.

The other tree is about 10 feet tall but has many small shoots around
it. Is it possible to start a new tree from one of the shoots?

Thank you for any information.

Nick
