Howdy Steve Spence,
This is a great subject, as fuel prices are surely rising everywhere.
Here in NZ, petrol is costing about $2 per litre, and is still rising.
This means great hardship for folks who have to travel for work.
Diesel is a little cheaper, but has doubled in price over the past
decade.
Now, I am sure that many more people are looking closely at Bio-
Diesel.
Around here, I mix standard diesel with whatever vegetable oil I can
get my hooves on. It makes for interesting smells around the
Amptramp's rear end, but it also makes for cheaper running.
I tried running it on pure Soyabean oil. It worked like a charm, and
smelt like a Chinese takeaway :).
Please do feel free to put more links and information here, as you
must surely have a great following in this wonderful venture.
Best wishes to you,
Steve Tee.
