Hi guys!! Murphy's Law!!! Grrrrrrr!!!!!

See that little black cloud over my head? I wish it'll just go away!!!!!!!!

I REALLY REALLY need a job!!

I have put in so many resumes this week...over 2 dozen!!

And yesterday when I was out and about paying my rent and payday loans (those things can kill ya!!)

I stopped by Scenic View nursing home and they said they lost my application and I need to come back in Mon. At 10 a.m. And then Check Into Cash said that they were hiring and I know the manager and she said, fill this out and I'll see what I can do! So on Monday I'm driving back out there...dressed nicely and will show them how professional I can be.

And then after getting my computer worked on...And no!! It's still not fixed....But anyone *ahem* that has Limewire (sorry Rhonda) my technician told me...GET RID OF IT!! It's just waiting to destroy your system...that's how viruses spread!!

My p.c. Came down with a slew of worms and a Trojan!! We had to clean it and now my Word won't recognize the documents and still won't!! So I have a call in to Microsoft but at least my Wordperfect will convert the documents!! So...

Then on my way to driving to Walmart...my right front tire exploded!!

I was bumming...So I sat there...and prayed...Someone will stop and help...THREE PEOPLE PULLED OVER!! Cuz here I am with my puter in the car and I'm like...I can see myself walking down the highway with my computer in my arms.

LOL

I got my spare on but we had difficulties with the lugnuts and he was nice enough to take 3 off his car and put them on mine just so I can make it to WalMart...I wish I could've made it to my tire bargain place cuz I really didn't have the $ and still don't and had to buy a brand new cheap tire at WalMart because I couldn't drive on that donut with just 3 lugnuts. Maybe I should've just bought some lugnuts but with having to drive today all the way into Festus again for the visit with the kids and it being a weekend and tire bargains closed until Monday...I wanted to make sure I was going to get there safely so yeah, they had me over a barrell. Now I need a job cuz I don't have any money to pay my cable bill or electric (again) but since I just paid UE they might be nice enough to *wait hopefully* until next month but...I will let you know in advance...Charter isn't so nice and will pull the plug on me.

So if that happens, I'll just have to go to school to check email.

But it won't happen until around the 20th. Unless I get a job before then. So...let's hope so.

Yes, I can't afford to be online but I need to be online cuz I have an online class this quarter!! What fun!! *ugghhh*

Well...I gotta go...Got a visit with the kids today!! I wanted to take them to the park and we could have hotdogs and visit with Buster and have a nice little picnic lunch. But nooooooo...Sharon had to make it at the McDonald's in Festus. I'm still bringing Buster!! I don't care what anyone says about my dog staying in the car!! So because of it...I have to take $15 that I don't really have...And I really don't!! To buy them lunch at McDonald's. I'm really peeved about this...What are we going to do at McDonald's for 2 hours? And this McDonald's doesn't even have a gym!!

Guess I should bring Uno, huh?

Well...I'm gone...

The following pictures are of the same place but taken during different
seasons. Be sure to read to the end.

       There was a man who had four sons.
        He wanted his sons to learn not to judge things too quickly.
        So he sent them each on a quest, to go, in turn,
        and look at a pear tree that was a great distance away.

The first son went in the winter, the second in the spring, the
third in summer,
and the youngest son in the fall.

When they had all gone and come back, he called them together to
describe what they had seen.

The first son said that the tree was ugly, bent, and twisted.

The second son said "no,"
it was covered with green buds and full of promise.

The third son disagreed; he said it was laden with blossoms that
smelled so sweet and looked so beautiful, it was the most graceful thing he
had ever seen.

The last son disagreed with all of them; he said it was ripe and
dripping with fruit, full of life and fulfillment.

       The man then explained to his sons that
        they were all right, because they
       had each seen but one season in the tree's life.

       He told them that you cannot judge a tree or a person by only one
season, and that the essence
        of who they are and the pleasure, joy, and love that come from life
can only be measured
       at the end, when all the seasons are up.

       If you give up when it's winter, you will
        miss the promise of your spring, the
       beauty of your summer, and fulfillment of your fall.

       Moral:
       Don't let the pain of one season destroy
        the joy of all the rest.
       Don't judge life by one difficult season.
       Persevere through the difficult patches
       and better times are sure to come, sooner or later.

Hey guys!! I discovered a cool trick today (all by myself and if I had thought of this earlier...I wouldn't have been so frustrated!!)

It will save A LOT OF TIME filling out all of those online applications for places like Monster.Com or Hotjobs.Com or online applications at various corporations that ask you to type in your resume in plain text format on their little form.

Check this out...Follow these simple rules and you'll never have to type your resume over and over again!! (The same thing can be done for your "generic" cover letter!!)

First: EVERYONE SHOULD HAVE A RESUME STORED IN A .DOC FORMAT OF SOME TYPE.

(If you don't, shame on you!)

1. Open Your resume...Select All (Ctrl A), Copy

2. Then on your opened job hunting website (we'll say, Monster.Com) Where it wants you to copy your resume, Paste your document.

3. Now...edit your resume to where it looks nice. You may use *, ~, - or -- or > as replacements for bullets. It will make it look nice, too!! Use a series of -------- as a horizontal rule!!

4. Once you get it looking nice on there, right click with your mouse, Select All, Copy.

5. Now, open a plain text editor like Notepad. Right click in Notepad and Paste.

6. Save that baby as your plaintextresume.txt And next time you visit another one of those sites, you won't have to type in your resume!! Just open your document and Select All, Copy and go back and paste!!

You can do the same thing to your generic cover letter, too!!

I'm sorry I hadn't of thought of that sooner!!!

Hello!! Welcome to my new group: Angel Sisters of Creativity!!
We're going to get this baby off the ground and have some fun!!
First: I have announcements to make:
We have two moderators to help aid the transition of this group and
help it run smoothly!! I trust these two very special ladies will make
excellent moderators and help me with group babysitting duties. Rhonda
and Dixie!! Thank you and Welcome!!
And a new member I am proud to announce!! Melissa (She goes by Mel!!)
Hi Mel!! If you like, you may introduce yourself so we may all get to
know you a little better!!
I will make membership plaques for everyone within the next few days
and distribute them appropriately!!
I will also upload the membership plaque blanks into this group's file.
As you have noticed in the file section of this group I have placed a
folder with all important group text document letters in there. THESE
LETTERS ARE NOT TO BE TOUCHED EXCEPT BY ME AND THEY WILL BE USED
AUTOMATICALLY WHEN A MEMBER HAS JOINED, BEEN APPROVED, RESIGNED OR BANNED.
Then with every member, Every member will have a folder and have
access to files. These folders are to be used (and maintained by
appropriate members) for these are YOUR FOLDERS WITH YOUR NAMES ON
THEM. You may upload tags, poems, stories, pictures, etc.
Whatever you wish to share with other group members or store!!
In the Calendar section, I will post tutorials or special events and
things we can do for that day/week.
Maybe even some games or something...
I haven't exactly thought deeply about it but I have an idea.
I will post another letter when I have the Calendar up and running for
March which is a few days away.
In the meantime, anyone that can help me promote the group and get
more membership...PLEASE DO!!
