This group was begun by a group of Pagan writers who found our work was being stolen and posted, usually uncredited, on various websites and e-lists. We were successful in getting some of the chronic offenders shut down. To do this, the owner of the copyrighted works must contact Yahoo! directly, so we have often alerted other plagiarized authors to these incidents. But some offenders are so chronic, sometimes stealing from literally dozens of authors daily, that we decided to start a group to alert other authors of these crimes.

Please keep it legal: Stick to the facts when reporting stolen work, the location where it was found, and the identity of the person posting it. Avoid any potentially slanderous statements of opinion, or be clear when something is solely your opinion. We will include links and files helping people understand what is and isn't plagiarism, and what is and isn't legal to publish about others.
