That the email leads back to them is news to me
at least; I was under the impression that the
addresses in the headers were all forged, and that the
phone number was the only way to contact
them.<br><br>That domain you claim you got a reply

course, I don't recommend mail-bombing people, or

BEST IDEA I'VE HEARD OF IN A WHILE!!!<br>When you
get ads in your phone or utility bill, include them

most of them<br>come with postage paid return

send them their application back! If you your name

I have been getting quite alot of email from
virtumundo.com and vmadmin.com. I followed their "unsubscribe"
link to their company website and found that not only
did they have contact information but it was readily
available, and it was a toll free number. I was very
scepticle, but I called it and a human being actually
answered the phone. Not only that, but I didn't even get
two sentences into my usual spiel and the young lady
offered to take me off their lists, immediately. AND when
I asked her where they got my email address, she
told me. No arguing, no self-righteous attitude, she
actually thanked me for calling.<br><br>I'm not condoning

As far as I know, the "unsubscribe" links may
just be a way to make sure that your email address is
up and running. It is generally a bad idea to follow
them. <br><br>"when I asked her where they got my
<br>email address, she told me."<br><br>You forgot to

he must not have been added to begin

fall into the trap of "unsubscribe" link, should make
a... er, "toll free" phone call to get spammed again?
<br><br>Have you ever wondered why, instead of flooding your
mailbox with their junk email, and then making the
generous offer to "remove" you, they didn't just say: "We
will no longer bother you unless you answer this
message"? Or must we believe that _this_ would be less
cost-effective than to hire a charming young lady in order to
answer their unwilling customers?

Glad to be of help.<br><br>How to get your
hotmail address "unlisted"...<br><br>Well, try searching
for it in google or another search engine. If it
comes up, that may be where it came from. Have you
posted to a newsgroup? Who have you given it to? Is it
easily guessable? Hotmail also has a check-box, to
publish your email - not sure where you can search for
that though. To make sure, create a new email account,
maybe one of
these:<br><br><a href=http://www.geocities.com/spamresources/filter.htm#email
target=new>http://www.geocities.com/spamresources/filter.htm#email</a><br><br>an\
d don't share it with anyone you don't trust. Try
using one of the expiring accounts for online signups,
that sort of idea.<br><br>As for the
header...<br><br>Received: from [193.193.154.27] by hotmail.com (3.2) with

Sat, 16 Feb 2002 06:52:59 -0800 <br><br>Okay,
193.193.154.27 sent the email to Hotmail.<br><br>This resolves
to mail.mfh.ch [193.193.154.27], as is hosted by
tic.ch. If we check openrbl.org, we see that it is hosted
on spamcop.net as an open relay - we could send a
note to abuse@... to let them know to close it; the
link <a href=http://www.mail-abuse.org/tsi/ar-fix.html
target=new>http://www.mail-abuse.org/tsi/ar-fix.html</a> is
useful for that.<br><br>That's about all we're going to
get with the U N I spammer, unfortunately. Slippery
customer that
one.<br><br>--<br><a href=http://www.geocities.com/spamresources/
