Re: [Aristolochia] Cymbifera "Gonzaga" getting ready to bloom!

Hello Mark,
I got the same plant Gonzaga too, have it for several years but never flower, but I think this year the weather is very good here in Vancouver, so I have it in the sun and it is climbing very well, so might surprise me and flower.
I have giberti, but the flowers are always the size of triangularis, same size as tomentosa etc.  They are like little kids would not grow up, my friend Greg was surprise they are that small.  I wonder whether that is normal...
Your photos of aristolochia are fantastic.

Hello everyone,

My 2 year old cymbifera "Gonzaga" plant has at least a dozen buds, and is getting to bloom in a week or two. I posted a pic of the biggest bud in my photo gallery, and will of course post pics when the flowers open. I have 4 or 5 of these vines, but only one with buds, so I may to try to self it, and I'll probably try to cross it with my ridicula as well. That probably won't take, but those are the only 2 I have blooming at the moment.

Now if I could just get my Itarana to do the same thing!

Greetings to the group!
Mark
