Head of Utah State University's Artificial Brain Project, Prof. Hugo
de
Garis will discuss whether humanity should build godlike massive
intelligent machines.
http://www.coasttocoastam.com/shows/2005/04/06.html
I am in Australia and am studying at the Murdoch university.
I have a presentation to make on Monday Titled A Coming Crisis? AI
and robots
I hope it is ok that I am using some of the images from Professor de
Garis website as overheads to illustrate what he is hoping to achieve
I will of course be making mention of his work and giving credit to
his images.
can anyone give me any advice on this topic as at this point I am
still unsure of what I am doing.
any help would be greatly appreaciated and acknowledged
Cool page, do you plan to add any literature to it? I might be
interested in contributing if you were willing to give your domain a
professional-ish look. Or do you plan to have it as a personal site?
Excellent domain-name choice; have you considered talking to the
Nanotech Now site webmaster and have him link you? Also, why does the
link at the top of your page say "ArtilectWorldNews" when the site you
link to, Artilect.org, isn't called "ArtilectWorld"? Also, the phrase
"Singularity Now" implies that a Singularity might be accomplished in
the near term. Do you differ with de Garis in your estimated ETA for
greater-than-human intelligence in the form of Artificial Intelligence?
