Re: Embedding and linking flash

Had to put this on the back burner for a bit, as I had other things I had to
finish first. Thanks for responding. Do you mean that I have to program the
information into the animation when I am creating it, or do this in the asp
code?

Thanks
Mike

IOW, the asp page that loads the animation has to pass in the db value.

do this with asp. I have a database that lists a few different flash animations.
A different animation will be displayed each time the page loads. I also have a
page setup to upload the flash files and save the names to the database and the
page it will link to. This is what will happen when the animation is clicked.
The user will be brought to another page where a script will be run to keep a
count of how many times a certain animation is clicked, then the user will be
redirected to the new page the animation links to. I tried using embed src to
show the flash, which works fine, but not for linking to the new page. Any
suggestions on how this might be accomplished? I would rather not have to
program the link with flash, would like to be able to link them with html.
