Hello! The Astronomy Club of Asheville will meet tomorrow night, Thursday, July
2 from 6-8pm upstairs at the Reuter Center on the campus of UNCA. Directions are
as follows: From either Merrimon Ave. or Broadway, take W.T. Weaver Blvd. to
the traffic circle and turn up into the UNCA campus. At the top of the hill,
keep right onto Edgewood, then take the first left onto University Blvd. Once
you crest the knoll and start down, take the first road on the right (unnamed
street between parking lot on right and two level parking deck on left) and
follow it to the top of the hill to the Reuter Center (two story red brick
building). Park behind the building on the upper level and come in door. The
meeting room will be to your right. Bill Roskin will show us the facilities and
make a short NASA PowerPoint presentation to show off the high tech features
we'll have available. We have the room for our meetings for at least the next
twelve months. Please join us. Call if you have questions.
Also need to discuss club business, observatory dome takers (Monty is a primary
candidate so far), John Chappell telescope for sale, etc. so come if you can.
