AstroClub Newsletters (ACNL) and the sister group AstroClub Columns (ACC) exist to help writers and editors of local astronomy club newsleters by serving as a clearinghouse for articles and columns appropriate for local club newsletters. Membership in ACC is limited to writers, those who want to become writers and club newsletter editors.

The two groups work together to maintain a high signal/noise ratio. Writers may submit articles to the sister group ACNL. Questions and discussions about local club newsletters are also appropriate in that forum. Each month a panel of editors will select the top submissions to ACNL. Those top submissions will then be posted to ACC where editors may select those appropriate for inclusion in their own local club newsletters. All submissions to ACNL are made with the understanding that the author is giving permission to local club editors to reprint the article in a local non-profit newsletter free of any charge. All articles published in newsletters will contain the original author's name, email/snailmail address (if desired by the author) and a link to the author's page if appropriate.

ACNL will provide a forum for newsletter discussions, while allowing ACC to serve as a forwarding service for the best articles submitted. See the page at ACC for additional information.
