I am sure all of you are already aware that the 100 Hours of Astronomy Cornerstone Project is a worldwide event consisting of a wide range of public outreach activities, live science center, research observatory webcasts and sidewalk astronomy events.
One of the most attractive and awaited even is the webcast directly from various research observatories world wide and opening the doors to the members of the public. This webcast would be for 24 hours This program has now been entitled as “Around the World in 80 Telescopes”. The list of the 80 observatory (Only one from India, the two others are cancelled) is available at the following link

A small trailer and some visuals would soon be put on the 100HA website. So keep visiting this site often.
