Hi Juan:

I am Observatory Code H76, so it was a pleasure seeing OakRidge Observatory
(Miami, Florida) in JPL's drop-down list. I will use the time stamp in the
FITS Header for each image that I scrutinize when looking at the listed RA
and Dec coordinates in the JPL Horizons output. I use Software Bisque's
TheSky to load the TLE data for the date of imaging, and I can graphically
display the transit path and note the obvious asterisms in the FOV.

We will see!

Adam

Hi: I performed a plate solution for one of my images and was able to use over 800 stars in the solution with good residuals. Is there a way to allow...

Astrometrica loads the MPCORB.dat file with the heliocentric orbits of minor planets, it also handles COMET.dat with the cometary orbits, as far as I know...

... Yup. And even if Astrometrica would import some elements file for artificial sats, there is no chance they would get plotted anywhere near the true...

... Not true. DASO page: http://www.cfa.harvard.edu/iau/SpaceJunk/SpaceJunk.html will happily return ephemerides for LCROSS at 1-min intervals for a specified...
