Re: [AstronomyWeather] Clear Sky Clock Firefox plugin

Hi Greg,

Cool plugin. I'm using it now.

A couple of things to keep in mind.

1. If in the future you change your gadget to update the clock icon more
often then every window opening, please note that I only update the clocks
twice a day: around 12pm to 2pm and 12am to 2am EDT. Please do not poll them
every few minutes. (In the past gadgets which polled quickly caused enough
load on my servers to cause problem.) Once an hour, or even less frequenly
outside of those update times, should suffice.

2.You may find these two files helpful if you want to make it easier for
your users to configure which clock they want to use:
http://cleardarksky.com/t/clock_keys00.txt
http://cleardarksky.com/t/clock_prop00.txt
With these two files you could conceivably write a clock requester that
offers lists of clocks and generates the url. Once you have the clock's id,
the url of the icon clock is
http://cleardarksky.com/c/<clock_id>cs0.gif
The clock_id is the first fields of each file.

clear skies.
