Dear CSC users...
I just want to let you know that all astro-weather images have been
available one hour earlier for a week.
Since we reintroduced tranparency forecasts, all astro-images have
been upgraded and they are all produced on a new IB cluster at the
office which is about 10X faster than before.
Attilla did ajust the CSC production accordingly.
For the last few days, morning images were on environment Canada web
page at 11am and night images at 23h eastern time.
Since this change, I have noticed a problem with netcape to
visualised astro-weather images and animations from environment
Canada web site
http://www.weatheroffice.gc.ca/astro/index_e.html .
If you click for one of these, a blank page will appear on your
screen. Images or animations are there but you hace to scroll the
creen upward to see them. There is no such problem with Mozilla.
Clear skies...
