Just wondering why that is? Don't you just back up the show using the
tools in ABEdit, and then import the project into a new computer or use
the same computer with a new AB, and then Import the show into the AB.
I don't move or remount a lot of shows, so I don't do this very often.
But the couple times I've tinkered with it, it seemed to work OK. Am I
missing something?
Actually I like the selection number frankly. Because if I want to
change a cue, I delete the old file(s), put the new ones in the same
selection numbers as before, and my work is done. (not counting if
levels have changed, etc....) But I kind of like that working method.
But I can see times where this would also be a pain I guess as well. I
guess is you already have a show in the box, that you can not
delete/overwrite and you want to import an old show that would make use
of the same selection numbers and such, that would probably be a royal
pain.
