Hi Robin,

The one extra thing I had to do in PC Sync was to try a different
phone "password" because the one for the account did not match the one
in the phone. For the connect button prompt, the password in the phone
turned out to be the last four numbers of my phone number. Try that
and let me know. Not only did I get all my photos, but I printed the
phone book too.

PS. To my knowledge, BitPim will not have the 8910 in its database.
And QPST can definitely wreck your phone if you make even the
slightest mistake. So PC Sync is still your best bet.
