Just to clarify some terms, ACL is not a tool for "Audit Through the Computer", it is a tool for a method called "Audit With the Computer". ACL is categorized as GAS (Generalized Audit Software), the other audit tools in "Audit with the Computer" is using SQL, and the Specialized Audit Software.
In implementing "Audit Through the Computer" method we have to use other CAATs tools such as : - SCARF (System Control and Review File) - EAM (Embedded Audit Module/Snapshot), - ITF (Integrated Testing Facility) - Test Data, Parallel Simulation, Code Comparison/Review

Yes Pak, ACL V8 can't read the .xlsx from Excel 2007, but the latest version V9.1.2 can. Anyway, you can open .xlsx in Office2007 first and save it earlier...
