Thanks Glenda :) Lucerne is $20 a bale at the moment. I do give each girl a good icecream container of lucerne chaff each per day, less wasteage than hay.

Sharyn, I've fed forage sorghum (Superdan) hay quite a bit. There are sorghum varieties that have less prussic acid than others and if harvested in dry weather
