The Austin Java Users Group brings together Java developers in the Austin area to share ideas, discuss advances in technology and generally promotes the use of Java.

The AustinJUG accomplishes these goals with presentations from industry leading speakers, "hometown heroes" meetings, expert panels discussions, reviews of products from leading Java vendors and networking on-line and at social events.

Sun has ranked the AustinJUG as one of the top 25 JUGs in the world.
