Description

British Astronomical Association Radio Astronomy Group

The group was reformed in 2005 to promote Amateur Radio Astronomy. The group will provide 'get you going' assistance, assist with observation programs and co-ordinate reports and events.

The BAA-RAG have also developed a range of radio astronomy instruments that connect to and are controlled by 'Starbase', a java based application developed by Doctor Laurence Newell and members of the group. These instruments are marketed by the UK Radio Astronomical Association.

Posting and access to files is limited to members only, however membership of the BAA is not mandatory, but is encouraged.
