HERE'S WHAT WE NEED…

Database Analyst
The Express HR project will implement solutions for streamlining
Human Resources employee transactions and reporting, providing self-
service capabilities for managers and employees, ensuring timely and
accurate Union Pension Health & Welfare and contract
calculations/payments. Such functionality will provide managers and
employees access to essential company knowledge, information, and
services via a secured web-based personalized portal, as well as
automate the business transactions' workflow and communication
processes.

Responsibilities will include:

Providing support in getting data loaded for testing of the
applications along with assistance of data validation and overall
data integrity.
Providing database/integrations technical expertise, coordination,
follow-up, and issue resolution assistance within the multi-tier
Express HR system.
Supporting test and production environments, associated databases,
and end-to-end testing as necessary.
Generating and update system/technical and user documentation as
necessary.
Providing advice and decisions for data archiving, data/system
backups, storage estimates, Disaster/Recovery, audit reports,
security requirements, etc.
Providing input to the project manager for the development of project
plans and schedules.

HERE'S WHAT WE'RE AFTER…

Successful candidates will possess:

Degree in a data processing related field or relevant job experience.
Experience with Oracle database in a database programmer role.
2+ years of database SQL, especially UDB DB2.
Prefer experience with Business Objects.
2+ years of Linux/Unix and shell scripting.
Prefer working knowledge of any ETL tools.
Prefer knowledge of Payroll and Human Resources systems, and ability
to preserve confidentiality of information.
Task oriented with strong communication and organizational skills.
