HELP! I need you to spread the word for me. The Chamber is making a
serious effort to include African Americans in the dialogue about the
region. Too often we sit back and complain and play "ain't it awful." My
personal goal is to prove that people of color are just as serious as
everyone else about the quality of life in Cincinnati. I am asking you
to please send the attached flyer to all of your email groups,
regardless of color, but please send it to as many African Americans as
you can.
Be At The Table
Saturday, November 3, 2007
10:00 a.m. - noon
New Vision United Methodist Church
4400 Reading Road (across from Sugar & Spice)
If you are interested in "being at the table" as decisions are made
regarding the future of Greater Cincinnati, this is an opportunity you
will not want to miss!
Be at the table, let YOUR voice be heard as we discuss. This is an
opportunity to join a group of passionate leaders from a variety of
sectors of society in Greater Cincinnati to organize an action agenda
for the four primary counties of Southwest Ohio (Butler, Clermont,
Hamilton and Warren). Developing a shared agenda is a novel approach to
regional civic leadership and it includes a strong bias toward action.
Be in on the action! Reserve your place at the table; email
jennylaster2655@ gmail.com
Please forward this email to friends, family, co-workers, enemies, and
anyone you can think of who should be at the table. Feel free to make
copies and drop this at your church, school or favorite watering hole.
Let's see if the network works!
Of course, I expect to see you there! I need your physical support on
Nov. 3.
Thanks,
Jenny Laster
