Paul,
I checked the security setting and running of .ASP pages is allowed. I did not
see any index.asp page. The page that would be the first page of the search is
named something other than that. These pages are on our Intranet site.
The version OS is Windows Server 2003 Enterprise Edition. I looked for
services.msc you suggested and couldn't find it. Is there somewhere it would
be? As mentioned before I have no experience IIS, I am mainly a developer and
database person.
The DSN matches the original configuration that worked. I hope this additional
information helps. I am at such a loss with these pages. It just doesn't make
sense.
Thank you,
Danielle

Dear Danielle,
Check the security settings of IIS6 to allow the running of .ASP pages
on your site (localhost (127.0.0.1)) and that index.asp and Index.asp is
included in the files to run. Allow the security to drop to low initially
to determine if its a Security Issue.
Do you receive the IIS6 Home page when you click Browse on the IIS main
file (which then displays the Under Construction Page.) in the IIS explorer
window.
Is the actual webserver running? Have you checked in the services.msc
for any authentication services which have been disabled from starting up.
What OS are you using? WinXPPro comes with IIS5, Servers come with IIS6.
Have you added the .NET framework v2.0 Is your PC completely up-to-date with
all OS updates?
If you can let me know more I maybe able to help further.
Paul.

Subject: [BKWeb_UltraDev] ASP pages no longer work
I have a series of pages that I created in UltraDev 4 that have been
working just fine for some time. Now they no longer work. The pages
haven't been changed; the only thing that changed was a
re-install
and upgrade of IIS to version 6.0. I am not a network person but did
some research about making sure ASP extensions can run. They are
allowed both ASP and ASPX. But the pages still will not appear or
populate. My main page will appear with when an x was added to asp.
I just don't understand why this is happening. Any information
or
help is greatly appreciated.
Thank you,
Danielle
