As you might know BUCC is a club of diversified interest, most commonly found parts with one or more respective google or yahoo group are:

• General BUCC involved with almost anything ( BUCC)
• Website Development (BUCCLAMP,   BUCCPHP)
• Software Development ( BUSWE,     BUCCOracle)
• Programming Group of ppl (BUACM)
• Linux Group of ppl ( BUCCLinux)
• Gaming

Now coming to the point,
FOSS not necessarily consists of Linux. So, we feel it would be unwise to treat a FOSS part of BUCC under BUCCLinux.

We chose to write it as BRAC University Computer Club OSN (BUCC OSN)
which covers FOSS related activities in Windows, Linux and in general.

This choice is given more preference over to implied BUCC -> BUCC Linux -> BUCC OSN.
Now it is directly, BUCC -> BUCC OSN

So, please use BRAC University Computer Club OSN (BUCC OSN) wherever necessary such as BdOSN's membership form. More details on BdOSN membership will be available publicly later this month or hopefully by next month. It is advised to use the full form together with abbreviation.
