This group was made for Bamboo Identification. I have 9 kinds of Bamboo. I am particularly interested in Phyllostachys. I am in planting zone 7b, Arkansas. Although Phyllostachys are my personal interest. This group will cover all bamboo’s world wide. Although there are not any rules. As a guide line we will post pictures. Everyone that is growing bamboo should have a picture. Just run out in your yard or bamboo grove and take one. Then send it, post it on this group. Ask questions, you might just get an answer.
