I am considering a computer upgrade to a Dell Pavilion Elite (quad Processor)
running Vista.I`m running a Dimension 8200 (chip and RAM upgraded 2-3 years ago.

I am using the 2008 version of BIB and assume there has been no BIB update to
take advanyage of quad processing capabilities. Not a programmer so have no idea
what is involved inj that but suppose it is not an overnight proposition.

I will be interested in comments anyone would care to make as pros and cons of
Vista and BIB, and the effect, if any of the quad processor (other than
multi-tasking i.e., running BIB alone with no other program running. Anny
comment as to another machine (my interests are music and photography (Nikon NX
2 and Photoshop software) which may be preferable will be appreciated.
